Dubble Works
Dubble Works sweatshirts and cut-and-sewn garments are produced using historic manufacturing methods from the 1950s—so traditional that they no longer exist even in the United States, where the brand’s inspiration and roots stem from.Dubble Works garments are made primarily of fallen cotton yarn, a naturally uneven fiber that dates from before the refinement of industrial-scale spinning technologies. Today, only Japanese artisans continue to utilize loopwheelers, devices that slowly knit cotton into a single, seamless tube of fabric. Invented in the 1950’s, these machines are increasingly rare and impossible to reproduce.
