Danton Clothing
In 1931, Mr Gabriel DANTON established the company 'MANUFACTURE TEXTILE DU CENTRE' at Châtres sur Cher in the centre of France. The brand 'DANTON' was registered in 1935 with the original red diamond logo that still remains. In the early days DANTON's workshop manufactured workwear overalls, blousons, pants, cook’s jackets and pants, and aprons for gardening. In the 70’s and 80’s, DANTON workwear was marketed mainly in Paris, the center and the North East of France.
In recent years, DANTON has recieved great success in the Japanese market. Whilst keeping the spirit of french workwear, Japanese design has informed and reshaped traditional styles.
